Admission to School

The school's supplementary Information Form (SIF) is also attached.

For entry to school September 2021

Please note that the Supplementary Information Form must be completed and handed back to the school for all applicants submitting faith information as part of the application process.

It must also be used for families attending Alston Lane Nursery who may be eligible for Pupil Premium Funding.

Admission 'In-Year' or to year groups other than Reception


If you would like to your child to move schools and attend Alston Lane Catholic Primary, we advise the following:

  1. Contact us to see if there is space in the relevant year groups
  2. Contact your child's current school and make them aware
  3. Visit Alston Lane by appointment to gain further information
  4. Complete the relevant In-Year Admissions forms and return these to school

Advice is available from the Headteacher or school office.

Register your children



If you have a baby or have recently moved into the district and you would like your child to attend Alston Lane Catholic Primary School, please notify the school office as soon as possible so that their name can be entered on our records.
Where a child's name has been recorded with school the appropriate forms will be sent out to the parents when the time comes to register for school entry.
